| Today's ride started out with the typical indecision, where are we riding ? We took far-side and middle and met-up on far-side again not sure how they connected the two but non the less we headed to the pepper tree. We took Mc twist over to the nettles on the way down Mc twist Doug hit some new lines, I wanted to follow but not knowing I opted out. I took the lower line just before the nettles I usual take the hi line just because but not today and Doug couldn't put the killer pass on me Had I known it was Doug I would have gone hi and dropped in on him, I love riding hard with him. We took north Arroyo to the storage facility then XXX Trail to the water treatment plant.You won't believe what came next we went out to the ammo dump to Dookie's 2.0 and played on that for a while before heading back into Sycamore. We might need to rename 2.0 to mini Gooseberry, It's a fun place to hone some skills. We took south arroyo to bottom of Mini Moab to lumbar Lou hill on to the Pepper tree,Doug went Rattlesnake to bench to the luge. The rest of us went far side to the luge . We regrouped in the parking lot and made our way back to the town center. Crazier then leaving the park was Schreddie Teddy showed up and rode with us I know it's hard to believe but it happened. Last Thursday Roger and Nancy rode with us now Ted. Maybe some of you other slackers should break out your rigs and come on out. Riders,Roxchelle, Dookie,Doc, Lou, Brian, Schddie, and OFGIB Charlie.. Good weather. distance like 50 miles. no mishaps 57.3 miles to be exact lol ;) |
